Music

Music is a hugely important part of The Last Reef experience, as it was with Wild Ocean and Pulse. Steve McNicholas and Luke Cresswell edit the films and compose the music at the same time, considering the editing, the images, the sound effects and music to being rhythmic pieces of the whole movie…

As with Wild Ocean, the soundtrack was recorded with a full string section, brass and percussion in The Old Market in the city of Brighton and Hove. The Old Market is now Yes/No Productions base of operations, doubling up as a live performance venue, as well as a studio space.
